News from the Wild: Solstice, Book Fair, and More
Hello Forest Families! We want to express our gratitude to the families who joined us for our Winter Solstice and Yule Celebration over the weekend. If your family missed it, no need to worry because this week we will be focusing on Yule, Winter Solstice, the story of Mother Reindeer, and the beautiful concept of GIVING! It's going to be a very sweet week and a perfect way to wrap up 2023, as this will be our final week of school for this year. We have loved spending these first few months of Forest School with your incredible children! Thank you for entrusting us with their presence!
Parent Tip of the Week
While we are on our winter break, we hope our families are still finding time to enjoy the great outdoors! It's the perfect time of year to snuggle up inside, cozy and warm, watching movies and reconnecting as a family. But, don't forget to spend some quality time together outside, doing something fun, rewarding, or even starting a new family tradition. Go for a hike, gaze at the stars, sled down a snowy hill (fingers crossed for snow!), observe animals by the river, bird-watch, or maybe even take a refreshing polar plunge (well, maybe)! The idea is that your family embraces the wonders of winter. Don't hide from it, because winter is AMAZING and it just might become your family's new favorite season!

Your support will directly fund scholarships, providing more nature-based learning opportunities to kids that need it most. Every contribution, regardless of size, propels us toward creating a brighter future. Join us in shaping the journeys of aspiring minds and building a stronger community. Thank you for being a vital part of our mission!
