Our Impact

In an age when many children spend increasing hours indoors and on screens, EverWild Forest School offers a powerful alternative.

Our outdoor, hands-on programs support healthy physical development, strengthen focus and executive function, and build the confidence and independence children need to thrive.

Through place-based exploration, students develop leadership skills, environmental literacy, and strong social-emotional foundations. Children get the chance to actively explore, build, collaborate, and problem-solve within the real world.

The result is more capable, resilient learners and young citizens who develop a lasting sense of care and stewardship for the natural world.

Get involved

Studies have shown that spending time in nature is essential for a child's growth and can inspire a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. EverWild Forest School is doing its part to raise a generation of environmentally conscious individuals, who will take the lead in addressing the challenges we face as our population continues to grow.

Our students and volunteers have planted over 700 native seedlings and volunteered over 500 hours across the Treasure Valley, and continue to care for these habitats to ensure they are preserved and protected.

Our families.

Forest school is a safe environment for kids to explore, learn, and appreciate nature with knowledgeable, kind teachers. Your kids will leave each class really dirty and excited to share what they did. They will learn super interesting facts, and their imaginative play will grow exponentially. They will love being outside and become super resilient to inclement weather. It’s been the best decision for our family.
