Parent Tip of the Week: Outdoor Activities in Autumn

It's officially Fall, and we couldn't be more excited! The weather is getting brisk and even a little chilly. We have some fantastic ideas to share with you and your family to make the most of this lovely cooler weather.

Build a Campfire: With the nights getting darker earlier and the chill in the air, it's the perfect time to gather around a cozy firepit. Being outside in the dark with a campfire is truly enchanting, and it's something your kids will remember for years to come, especially if you turn it into a Fall tradition.

Take Neighborhood Walks: This is an incredible opportunity to observe and appreciate nature's wonders - the changing trees, blooming plants, lively animals, and interesting bugs. Make these walks a regular activity, and you'll be able to witness the beautiful transformations that occur.

Create an Outdoor Scavenger Hunt or Go Geocaching: Get your family engaged in outdoor fun while keeping their minds sharp and their senses alert.

Time to Hit the Garden: Teach your kids how to use pruning shears to help maintain a healthy and happy garden. They can also gather flowers to dry or harvest any vegetables that are ready. And don't forget to encourage the kids to collect seeds - it's a wonderful way to learn about seasons and plant life cycles.

Build an Amazing Fort or a Whimsical Fairy House: You'll find an abundance of natural building materials on the ground, so gather them up and let your imagination run wild - become engineers, builders, animals, or even fairies!

No matter what you choose to do this Fall, we genuinely hope it brings joy to your hearts, strengthens the bond within your families and communities, and lets you experience the incredible wonder of children!
