Parent Tip of the Week: Setting Intentions

Help your child kick-start their day at Forest School with an awesome intention!

Some days at Forest School are brimming with excitement and energy, like a rocket ready to blast off. But other days, it's all about embracing the calm and tranquility of Mother Nature (who loves to take her time). By setting an intention before class, your child will have a goal to strive for, no matter what the day brings. Intentions can be anything from spreading kindness, being an amazing friend, learning three new things, memorizing all their classmates' names, tearing apart that gnarly old log, or even creating a mind-blowing water cycle/filtration system! The sky's the limit!

We recommend having a chat with your little explorer on the way to school and asking them what they're super excited about or what they'd like to shine at today. We get it, sometimes your kiddo might say they're not up for Forest School, but that's when they can set their intention to be brave, conquer obstacles, and return home with one hilarious moment that made them burst into laughter!
