but nature never closes!

Class Summary

Drop off your child for a day of fun and learning! Each No School Nature Day is full of exciting outdoor activities, and children will get the chance to learn about local plants and animals and their habitats. In addition, there will be community projects, experts in the fields of ecology and conservation, and experienced and enthusiastic instructors to guide your child through a day of discovery and adventure.

  • Held on the following Fridays when local schools are out of session: February 16, March 15, May 10, and May 24

    Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

    No School Nature Days are held on 5+ acres of private property at 6200 N Garrett St, Boise, ID owned by Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (BUUF). The outdoor learning space features mature trees, a babbling brook, secret trails, covered seating areas, a play structure, and a small cabin!
