Through hands-on challenges and shared experiences, campers build confidence, resilience, and practical skills for living comfortably outdoors.

Your camper will:

  • Learn how people meet basic needs outdoors through foraging and wild foods

  • Prepare simple meals and snacks using outdoor cooking methods

  • Practice wilderness first aid and body awareness

  • Work through group survival scenarios that build problem-solving and teamwork

Camp Details

Were you aware that birds are the nearest living kin to dinosaurs? With a staggering 10,000 species of birds globally, there's an abundance to delve into and satisfy your curiosity about these fascinating creatures. Become ornithologists for a week, exploring birds of prey, waterfowl, and songbirds, as we embark on a birdwatching adventure right in our own habitat.

Camp Requirements

  • Must be potty trained

  • Must have the skills to participate in group care safely and respectfully

  • Must be able to adhere to critical safety rules and boundaries

  • Must be capable of practicing resilience in a variety of outdoor conditions

  • Caregivers serve as important partners in their child’s success. We expect our families to openly communicate and work with us to optimize their child’s experience in our programs.

Important Notes

  • Camp fees cover all class materials and include a $25 non-refundable administration fee. Payment plans can be arranged for two or more camps with prior notice.

  • Refunds for cancellations made three weeks or more before the program's first day will be granted, minus the $25 non-refundable registration fee. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to amy@everwildforestschool.org at least three weeks before the camp starts

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than three weeks before the first day of camp. Additionally, no refunds will be provided if a student fails to attend, is dismissed due to misconduct, or withdraws for any other reason.

What to Bring

  • Durable backpack

  • Two filled reusable water bottles

  • Sunscreen & hat

  • Towel

  • Water shoes (flip-flops are not allowed)

  • Change of clothes

  • Wet/dry bag

  • Packed lunch and snacks in reusable hard container

    ALL items must be labeled with your child’s name. Without a physical building, we are unable to designate a lost and found area, and we want all of your child’s belongings to return safely each day.
