EverWild’s only full-day class option offers students the unique opportunity to take a deep dive into the exciting projects and lessons facilitated by experienced and nurturing teachers. The Forest Fridays location takes place at the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, where the class has access to 5 acres of private forest and streams, a cute log cabin to do art and projects, and indoor classroom and restrooms. Monthly visits by guest educators from the community (e.g. The Watershed, Gold Eagle Audubon Society, etc.) contextualize EverWild’s place-based curriculum, covering subjects in local natural and cultural history, science, language arts, math, and art.
