Ready for your next adventure?

EverWild Forest School offers outdoor classes in natural forested areas regardless of weather, usually close to water bodies. We encourage children to engage in supervised risky play, such as climbing trees and using sticks.

With experienced educators, low ratios, and stringent safety measures, we prioritize a secure and nurturing learning environment.

However, while our program boasts numerous advantages, the outdoor setting and lack of specialized staff may not cater to every child's needs.

Is our program a good fit for your child?

Enrollment Process

The school year begins in September and ends in May. It is highly recommended that your child start in September and complete the school year to reap the full benefits of forest school. Please note that there are breaks during the year, including fall, winter, and spring breaks.

Enrollment before September 5:

  1. After reviewing the website, ask any additional questions you may have by emailing ilyse@everwildforestschool.org or calling 208.996.3539.

  2. Choose your desired class on the registration page and check out to pay the first month’s tuition.

  3. You will receive an email within 3 business days to complete enrollment paperwork.

  4. You will receive an invoice for last month's tuition and annual materials fee, and we require Autopay for the remaining months (does not apply to Tots and Trees or camps).

  5. Your teachers will schedule a check-in call after the first month. Families serve as important partners in their child’s success. We expect our families to openly communicate and work with us to optimize their child’s experience in our programs.

Enrollment after September 5 (mid-school year):

  1. We offer a mid-year enrollment process that includes a trial period for children to attend and determine if EverWild and their chosen class are a good fit before final enrollment. These trial classes should be treated like the first day of program participation.

  2. The trial period is defined as four classes, and you will be prorated for four classes at the time of checkout.

  3. To apply for a class, visit our registration page and select your preferred class.

  4. You will receive an email within 3 business days to complete enrollment paperwork.

  5. An administrator will contact you during the trial period to answer additional questions and chat about how things are going.

  6. If it is determined a good fit for your child after the trial period, tuition will be billed for the regular rate for the remainder of the school year. The following month’s tuition, last month’s tuition, and the $75 materials fee will be due within 3 business days. Materials fee is reduced to $40 if you are enrolling after Winter Break.

Enrollment for drop-off programs remains active until the end of May or until we are given 30 days advance written notice of withdrawal.

Tots & Trees session fees must be paid for upfront and are non-refundable.

Tuition Funds

Our program follows the reimbursement requirements for Tech Trep Academy, Overture Learning, and Harmony Ed. Upon initial enrollment, you’ll be emailed a receipt that can be submitted to your child’s school for reimbursement. All receipts thereafter can be downloaded from your parent portal on the Brightwheel app.

Our program qualifies as an elective in most cases; however, some families have satisfied their child’s science requirements depending on the grade level.

During the school year, photos and a detailed description of the lesson covered during class are uploaded to the Brightwheel app daily. These can be downloaded and used to demonstrate learning.

Financial Aid

We provides scholarships to children and families in low-income communities for participation in our high-quality nature-based education programs to promote health and wellness and close economic and educational gaps.

Tuition assistance can be requested at the form below. Tuition assistance consideration closes July 1st for the upcoming school year.

EverWild Forest School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its financial aid program.
