Animals are some of nature’s most impressive builders, and this camp explores how their structures inspire human design and engineering. Campers investigate nests, webs, dams, and mounds to uncover how animals build, adapt, and solve problems in their environments.
Campers will:
Observe and study animal-built structures like nests, webs, and dams
Experiment with building and design challenges inspired by animals
Explore basic engineering concepts such as stability, materials, and airflow
Use curiosity and problem-solving to test ideas and refine designs
